My name is
Oliver Vogt. I was born in Cottbus in Germany in
1972. Since 2002 my family and I have been living in Jørpeland in Norway.
I am
educated as an interior decorator. I work in company Bjørn Hansen
Betongelement.
My interest
for carving by means of a chain saw started when my wife one day said: “I would
like to have a wooden sculpture in my garden”. No problem, I thought. That
should be easy. Then we drove to a saw mill to search for the correct subject.
It did not end with one sculpture, but three!
